Min and Smith
Just finished editing an article on poetry by Neeltje Maria Min. The work of this Dutch poet, it now strikes me, appears to be resemble the ironical and hard-to-place poems by Stevie Smith. Interesting stuff, anyway!

Tony Judt
Tony Judt, whose essays I much admire, passed away today. He was suffering from a severe neorological disorder that incapacitated his speech abilities; writing was increasingly difficult too. He wrote a touching and observant piece called 'Words' on th eloss of language at all levels. Read more for the complete link
